The Start of Goal Setting

13 02 2012

Looking at 2012 so far, it’s been quite a drag! I seem to be backing out on some activities. I’ve dropped out of the speech club to accomodate for the dog walking, which has moved to Thursday to accomodate for the roller derby practices (this blog is not called the Organized Mess for nothing!!). I’m not working Saturday nights due to Friday being too wild at the bistro, so my finances are shrinking. Time to start making new goals! This part of my life has been sorely lacking lately. First, the charity goal has failed (I’ve been grumpy ever since the subway attack last Wednesday). Second, there is hardly time for me to work out, but at least I’m walking home again after recovering from a sore heel in January. The only goal I’ve been keeping is the good turn every day, even through my grumpiness. The life skills course I wanted to take will be replaced by a life coaching course at George Brown College (I’ll be registering tomorrow after work). This will be four Saturdays between March and May, and I’m looking forward to this. I have quite a few friends who became life coaches, and I feel inspired by them to study to become one. Hopefully this will be the start of something great!
