About

My name is Nikki Contois and I am a native Torontonian.  I live in the Parkdale area of Toronto with my mother and crazy brown tabby cat.  If you have heard of the term ‘organized mess’, my life would be the perfect description of it.  I have experienced many things in my life and it reads like somebody’s to-do list on steroids.  So far in my life I have done: bicycle racing, hockey, go-karting, tennis, soccer, basketball, newspaper reporting (at an adult school), dressage, trail riding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, a half-marathon, woodworking, stamp and coin collecting, bicycle repairing, chess, cribbage, knitting, crocheting, photography and kayaking.  Currently I am a Beaver leader with the 3rd Toronto, a member of the Brainwave Toastmasters, a glockenspiel player with the Queen’s York Rangers band at Fort York armouries, a dog walking volunteer at Toronto Animal Services, and a data entry operator in downtown Toronto.  There is never a dull moment in my life and I will post on everything interesting in Toronto.
